Upload Your Photo

Got a selfie you love? Upload it to your ONEcard.

Upload your photo by August 20 to ensure it is ready for pickup in the Fall during the distribution event from August 26–September 4. If you upload after August 20, you will receive an email from the ONEcard office confirming a pickup date and location when your ONEcard is ready for pickup (usually three days after approval).

HOW TO UPLOAD A PHOTO

  1. that follows the requirements below. If you have trouble with this on your desktop computer, try using your phone instead.
  2. You will also need to upload a close-up photo of either:
    1. one piece of government-issued photo identification (must include first and last name)
    2. two pieces of government-issued non-photo identification (take a single image containing both pieces of identification).
  3. When your card is ready for pickup, you will receive an email to your U of A email address confirming a date and location for picking up your ONEcard (usually three days after approval).

Once a photo is submitted, it is sent for printing and you are not able to upload a new one. If you wish to update your photo and reprint your card after distribution, you can certainly do this. There is a $15 fee to exchange your card and reprint it. Contact us so your image can be removed before uploading a new one.

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS

  • Your head should be fully in the frame and in alignment with the measurements below
  • Photo must be an unaltered digital image of you taken in the last 6 months
  • Photo should be of only you with no other people in the frame
  • Head must be uncovered, unless for religious purposes
  • Glasses should not contain glare. No sunglasses
  • Photo should have a plain, white or light colour background (you will have the option to remove the background after uploading)
