The Office of Rural and Regional Health has recently endeavored to create an interactive map of available rural communities across Alberta and the Yukon that participate with our medical learning programs. This map identifies rural communities, provides additional information about these communities, as well as which programs they participate in and many of the preceptors available. There are layers in the map that can be turned on or off to identify specific programs or information as needed.
We are excited to provide this map in order to help the learners choose rural locations for their experiences to enhance their learning career. Feedback on this map can be sent to: rcec@ualberta.ca
