Message from the Director
Thank you for visiting the website. We were excited to be able to launch the International School with our partners at Beijing Sport University (BSU) in September 2023. This new endeavor is the next collaborative step between BSU and the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation who share a history of collaboration and friendship.
For the 2025-2026 school year, we have 342 undergraduate students in recreation, sport, and tourism enrolled on the campus in Hainan. As they learn from instructors from both institutions, I hope they will embrace the international experience and environment on the growing Hainan campus. These current students are the next generation of sport, tourism and recreation professionals and will be leaders in helping us realize the power of leisure, physical activity, recreation, sport, and tourism to improve quality of life.
Further, I am looking forward to seeing this collaboration grow with our partners at Beijing Sport University. As we enter year 3 of the program’s existence, there are many exciting avenues to pursue as the campus and school continues to develop.
